MC Heelers

Hi! I’m McKenzie Carlton - Carboni, the breeder and owner of MC Heelers. I’ve been around the Australian Cattle Dog breed my entire life. Although, our journey really started last year (2025) when we got Honey, our first AKC Australian Cattle Dog. Since then, our program has grown to what we never expected! Before getting into this all, I was a vet-tech, rode horses for people, worked at a horse boarding facility, and a dog boarding facility. I feel as if my life was leading up to this moment and gave me the best foundation of knowledge before I even realized. Here at MC Heelers, we stick to breed standard, form and function. Our goal is to keep the breed as it is, with no short cuts being made, while also bettering the breed. As I’m only 26 years old, I have a list of goals that I’m reaching for, and hope to one day achieve them all. Genetics are a huge thing to us! It’s quite fascinating how deep genetics go. We do our best to give our pups a great start at life, and building a foundation for them, starting with ENS & ESI & raising them inside our bustling household, with all-day interaction.
