About me

I’m McKenzie Carlton, the breeder behind MC Heelers. Located in Waxahachie, TX. I’ve been doing this professionally for a little over 2 years now and had my first litter back 2022. Growing up my parents raised Heelers and Texas Heelers, have been around the breed my entire life. Since I was 18, I’ve worked several jobs within the horse industry, working at a dog grooming/boarding business and as a vet tech. Gathering knowledge one step at a time. My program is my full-time job now. With me being a newer breeder and in my twenties, I’m still working towards my set goals within my kennel and personal Heelers. I hope we can make it where I want us to be, providing Heelers that are show and working quality to families, individuals and ranchers. As I’m still working to build my own line, I hope to provide knowledge to others and produce quality breed standard Australian Cattle Dogs that have structure and mindset.
